  1. To make sure your business is real
  2. To make sure you are the real owner/s of the business
  3. Current listing did not adhere to our Google Places quality guidelines and needs further attention
  4. Dual Google Places listings
  5. Conflicting information found online about your business for eg. you have listed a different address or telephone number on a online directory or your website

So what happens now?

We will review your listing and look for additional information that may be conflicting and get it fixed and re-submit it to Google. We find this delays the process by 2-3 weeks as we go back and forth to Google to clarify and fix one of the above reasons. There is no need to follow this up with us, we have a special team that heads up any of these issues and as soon as they are fixed we will alert you by email.

Previously, our 90 day money back guarantee began upon successful verification of your account. Verification of your account is normally done either over the phone, by SMS, or by postcard. Our technicians will walk you through this process.

Adding photos and information to your listing is easy. Simply attach a maximum of 4 photos to an email along with a short blurb, if you so wish, to photos@publicitymonster.com.au and we will upload your photos within 48 hours. Please note that even after we have uploaded your photos, Google also needs to adjust to the changes which can take a further few days.

Accounts more than 7 business days overdue are automatically suspended.

Accounts more than 14 business days overdue are terminated.

Refund requests must be emailed in detail to refunds@publicitymonster.com.au. If granted, your refund will be processed in the same manner that your payment was made.
  • How can I guarantee that my optimisation service does not expire?
To guarantee that your optimization service does not expire and that your listing does not disappear, ensure that your account is paid in full, on time. Your credit card will be automatically debited at the 12 month stage to ensure your optimisation is continued. If you paid for your service initially by direct debit and wish to continue doing so, it is your responsibility to ensure your account is paid in full and that we are informed of your payment details at least 14 days before your 12 months is up.
  • What happens when my 12 months has finished?
Publicity Monster automatically renews your package with us at the 12 month point and continues optimizing your listing. Should you not wish to continue with us for another 12 months then you need to inform us by email to cancellations@publicitymonster.com.au at least 14 days before your 12 month renewal is due.
  • What happens if I do not wish to continue my listing for another 12 months?

If you do not wish to continue your listing for another 12 months, simply email a detailed request to cancellations@publicitymonster.com.au and we will ensure that your Google Local listing is swiftly removed. Please refer to full Terms and Conditions regarding cancellations via the Publicity Monster CustomerHub or contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.

  • What can I do to help my listing move up?
The more content you have on your listing, the better your rank will be. Please feel free to email a short blurb and up to 4 images to photos@publicitymonster.com.au and we will upload them for you within 48 hours. Other than that, sit back and allow our SEO expert technicians to work their magic!
  • How long does it take to optimize my listing?
We allow 90 days to fully optimize your listing. In many cases it often happens a lot sooner.
  • Can you list my business in overseas markets?
Publicity Monster can optimize listings for you in any country that has Google. If you are interested in having your listing appear in overseas markets simply email us your contact details to sales@publicitymonster.com.au and one of our Sales Stars will contact you promptly.
  • Why am I not able to see updated information on my Google Places mini-site?
Any information that is emailed to photos@publicitymonster.com.au is uploaded within 48 hours. Often however it can take up to 7 days for Google to adjust to and display any new content.
  • What happens if I move my business to a new address?
Google Local optimization means that your listing is optimised for your particular address. Thus, if your address changes the optimisation process must begin from scratch again and you will need to purchase a new optimisation package.
  • Why can I not see my listing in Google yet?

If it is within the first 90 days please note that during day 8 to 90 you will see mixed results on Google until all the servers sync and we have completed our optimisation. Please allow the full period for this to happen before contacting us. Our SEO specialists will be hard at work making sure you move up the ranking as quick as possible. Please contact us only if your telephone number or business details are incorrect.

If it is out of the initial 90 days, please call us on 1300 448 350 and we will look into it immediately for you. It is most unusual.

Web hosting is $14.95 per month including GST. Web hosting is paid for in 6 or 12 month installments. Please note, Publicity Monster does not host websites that have not been designed by us.
